work you were hired to do, i.e., days, hours, etc., you are eligible for UC based on the LACK OF WORK AVAILABLE that you were hired and were contracted to do as an employee. Each state spells out exactly what you are entitled to receive re: UC based on what you were HIRED to do, and what you cannot do because of what Nuance has pulled (amounts vary by state). Obviously, this does not apply to IC status. Well worth checking into because it does not seem Nuance is able to fix the problem THEY created in a timely fashion.
