Just like the email from upper management said, I got it only for the few hundred lines above my accumulative total for the whole time period, not for the 3500 lines I should have gotten based on the Incentive email of lines over my average per day.
It takes more than just Reading Comprehension 101 to understand that the incentive email made no logical sense the way it was written as an incentive for anyone to do more work than normal.
