It was still being done back when I hired on, but it was no longer being offered when a friend hired on a year ago.
I think we can chalk it up to just another something they did for years and used to be among the handful of perks of working for MedQuist, now MModal. Which has now gone the way of flex schedules, regular incentives, great and fairly inexpensive health insurance, and living wages at this company...i.e. sadly, no more.
I doubt it would be offered to someone with IC status regardless, though that is not an area I know anything about. I don't think IC status was even an option until recently.
But who knows, maybe if you come right out and ask?
