Not VBC - OP

The contract does not say VBC, it says compensation is paid for "any character typed" and typed is in bold.

I looked at the contract again (keystroke is not mentioned which I thought it was), "keystroke" is in an email he sent me. Guess I will have to talk to him, get it clarified, and get another contract to sign.

Thank you for the replies, I did more research, which I should have done the first time!
