Well not audio to listen to dictation, but here's how. Click on your Windows start button, bottom left of your monitor. Choose control panel. Once there click on the Sound icon. There click on the sound tab, and under sound scheme, choose No Sound. It is wonderfully peaceful and silent, no beeping, booping, dinging, etc. I've had my PC set like this for years.
