I make macros like what you're describing in Word 2007, but this platform is only verrry loosely Word-based, not able to use like Ctrl+F9, etc. Hopefully won't be on it too long, if EditScript ever gets back up.
[ETA] I just tried with Ctrl+Left and Ctrl+Right, etc., but even with jumping back, as soon as the period is put in, it caps the Coli for me.
