They are hiring because either they have new accounts that were in place before the N mess or they have taken over some N accounts. I work for a hospital that has signed a contract with a different service because N is in breach of contract and because they didn't have the courtesy to give calls or updates until 3 days into the mess.
So there will be companies hiring permanent. I would ask if it's perm or temp.
