you are also new. In a job that is production based, it will take time for you to develop the skills to do better. Many think all you have to be able to do is type fast for this job and there is so much more to it than that. Over time you will become more familiar with the dictators, with medications, etc. and you should see your productivity and accuracy improve which will increase your pay. Unfortunately, the pay is not what it once was and so the potential is less but you should end up doing better than you are right now.
