I have done that in the past when offered a low rate. I stated it when our rates were cut and left the company and now I am back to being an IC, making 4 cpl for voice and 6 cpl for regular (which there isn't a lot of). If I run into a bad report with regular transcription for 6 cpl, I don't even do it. Not only can they replace you with off shoring MTs but also MTs in this country who are willing to work for that kind of money.
I applaud your efforts, but unfortunately it will do not good and the next job you apply for, will probably be in the same ballpark. Face it this ship has sailed!
