It is simple. Treat your employees/ICs the way you want to be treated, with respect, kept informed of expectations and of what is happening, and compensated fairly for the work done. I find that many MTSOs are horrible in their treatment of MTs. The fact that we work remotely makes it easier for MTSOs to dismiss MTs, treat them poorly, and show little/no respect towards them. In the end, we have to say no to conditions that are detrimental to us. I wonder what would happen if more MTs started saying no to poor treatment and moving on to other types of work.
