typing, saying there was a mix of both, but I only had straight typing, so I already was not happy being paid that crummy wage, and the accounts were awful, difficult to understand, and I hated every moment. I wasn't making any money and when I said something to the supervisor, she said something like "give it time, most of the MTs eventually make $10/hour." Woohoo. I made $10/hour in 1992. After a few weeks I left. And because I didn't stay six months (or whatever the requirement was), I did not get paid for my training, so that was another kick in the gut.
