They will ask you for 2 weeks and tell you 2 weeks is necessary to be considered re-hire in the future. If you have any equipment belonging to them, they'll give you a number to call for a pre-paid label to return it.
I would definitely take a week off. You need to relax and clear your head. I took 2 weeks off for those reasons and would have taken another week if possible.
Not sure if your manager will allow you to work your notice but most do. What programs do you have that need to be removed? Be really careful doing that because some are grouped with Windows settings. If IT takes it off, I've never heard of that. You can remove all of it. Just be really careful.
