Finan Templeton Dermatopathology Associates, the leading dermatopathology laboratory in Atlanta, is seeking an experienced, intelligent, positive, and accurate medical transcriptionist to become a member of our extraordinary team. The ideal candidate is productive and accurate, functions well in a team environment, and has an exceptional understanding of medical terminology.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Accurate and timely transcription of pathology reports, consultations, letters or miscellaneous correspondences.
- Data Entry of patient demographics, clinical impression, and gross description.
- Reviews data entered for completeness and accuracy.
- Places phone calls to referring physicians as required.
- Maintains patient confidentiality.

Part-time team members receive partial benefit packages based upon hours worked. All Finan Templeton team members receive generously competitive wages along with a commitment to an environment of care, integrity, and mutual respect. Pay is dependent upon experience and abilities, but averages between $18 and $20 per hour.
