To me it seems like more 30-45 seconds! Even if I have just done a 1 minute internet search or taken less than 60 seconds to proofread a report, I have to tap the arrow keys or the foot pedal every few seconds or when I exit the report my inactive time will have gone up by a minute or so. I have even learned to do this now when I'm uploading and DocuCheck is loading. I think the system reads that as nothing happening.
Doing this every few seconds is the only way I have been able to get my inactive time down to less than 20 minutes a shift. BTW you are totally one of my favorite posters because of your past experience with MM, so I mean no unfriendliness here. :) But 3 minutes just made my mouth drop open, lol.
No kidding, if they set it for 3 minutes and it only measured me getting up for coffee, it would not be nearly as irritating. Maybe it is and I have perceived it wrong, who knows.
