I lost my job a few months ago and am looking outside the MT industry; however, since I have not landed anything yet (trying to get something actually worth my time) and with winter approaching, I am considering doing MT part time for a bit while I continue looking elsewhere.
I am wondering what to expect with the online testing. Are the tests timed? (I have a bit of a test phobia and get super nervous.) I would apply and test for a company I know I don't want to work for (just to see what they are like), but if I get offered a job and refuse I will lose my unemployment.
Any information, tip, etc. appreciated. Any suggestions of a good company to work part time for also will be much appreciated.
