I said that comparing MT and coding was comparing apples and oranges and comparing AHDI to AHIMA or AAPC is ridiculous. If you grant a CCS you will probably want to join AHIMA because they represent the inpatient side of coding. You can obtain CEUs anywhere. Also, judging an organization by their website is silly. AHIMA also has a toll free number, they even have local chapters where you can attend meetings and network with others in the coding world, as does AAPC. No offense, but if you can't figure out a website, you probably aren't going to do well as a coder.
