There are 4 stages of PM: Positive Coaching, Verbal, Written, and Final. Unless you have been in PM before (PM lasts 6 months and then falls off) and they are escalating your PM to the Final stage, you do not have to worry about getting fired anytime soon.
Your HDSM, PC should be reaching out to help you improve your quality as well as explaining what the PM process is. If they don't, I would highly recommend reaching out to them as stressing out about it will only end up making your quality worse.
