...why make yourself miserable day in and day out and quit? You said the word "hate" seven times in your post, so it is clear that you are miserable.
If I were in your shoes, I would walk away in a heartbeat. No job is worth that amount of stress in my opinion. I'd rather work in a department store for the holidsays....or clean offices, or something else than sit around and hating my job and myself.
