I know EXACTLY who you're talking about. A Google search of his name indicates that GJ is still a recruiter for an MTSO in Florida.
Now this is just my opinion, but I think GJ shares information about MT applicants with the recruiter of the other MTSO you mention. He's been in the business for decades, so his contacts must number in the hundreds or even thousands, and he keeps detailed records.
I've had more than one run-in with GJ. This is a guy I would definitely steer clear of. 'nuff said.
