It isn't about the CMT or Respect - - anon

Posted: Aug 23rd, 2016 - 9:26 pm In Reply to: How about basic respect? - CMT/QA a long time

It really isn't about what the CMT means or how hard or easy it was to get it. It is about the money trail. Supporting an entity that is hurting the field is just absurd. CMT is no longer necessary because not only can many MTs not justify the cost and spare the time, but the employer pool is shrinking to only the huge monopolistic few who could care less about a certification. Sweat shops generally do not value certifications and knowledge. It is all about the most output for the smallest cost. AHDI won't last much longer at this rate.
