linecount, linecount, linecount is the name of the game. But also not spending your income to other people for your business-related needs. Are you tech-savvy? Do you enjoy diagnosing and quickly fixing your computer glitches? Do you enjoy getting under the hood and learning how to quickly make complicated macros? Are you willing to buy better equipment than standard issue (for example, a better sound card with an equalizer AND installing it yourself)? Would you enjoy learning how to do quarterly taxes YOURSELF and even your own 1040s at the end of the year? Would you be willing to purchase a good hotkey program (ShortHand, Instant Text, etc) and then teach yourself all the bells and whistles it offers? (AutoCorrect does not do it. Those who swear by AutoCorrect never really learned all the bells and whistles of a truly powerful hotkey program.)

These and other skills will increase that linecount AND reduce how much of your income you have to put out in order to maintain your business. I agree with the above poster in the amount of income that can be made - but I think that poster would also agree with this post. There is more to it than fast fingers and a good knowledge base of medical terminology.

Good luck!
