This recruiter really needs to speak to people who actually have hired MTs to transition, because I do legal transcription now, and MY boss said that when they've needed more people occasionally she really likes hiring MTs because of all the transcription and remote-work skills we bring with us. It did take me a few months to really develop an easy ear for multiple speakers, but now it's as autopilot as anything MT ever was, and most of the transcripts I type usually have five or six speakers but once had 32 speakers in one transcript.
