Pretty sure Adobe Flash Player update is okay - as I recall anyway

I have been told no Java or IE Explorer updates past IE8.

You just have to unclick the boxes when you download Flash Player so you don't end up with the extras.

But it wouldn't hurt to confirm with the tech people first just in case.
