Join the dynamic team at our internationally recognized Orthopedic Surgery, Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinic in San Francisco, CA. Work in a close-knit environment, supporting an orthopedic surgeon who is a passionate innovator and a team of people who care deeply about patients.
Postion:
Medical transcriptionist, part time – approximately 24 hours a week
Ideal candidate:
Licensed LVN, Medical Technician, or Medical Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Transcribe and/or edit dictation by physicians and other healthcare providers in order to document patient care, e.g. diagnostic imaging studies, chart reviews.
- Occasionally assist in the office when our nurse is not available [if appropriately qualified].
Required skills and experience:
- Excellent typing.
- Excellent use of English language, grammar & punctuation.
- Knowledge of medical terminology (preferably orthopedic).
- Knowledge of medical administrative and clerical procedures and systems – word processing, managing files & records, and other office procedures.
- Previous experience in a medical office is a plus.
