I use keystrokes instead of my mouse---took a while to get used to, but that is definitely faster once you get it. However, I don't see how hot keys for pausing, speeding up, etc., could possibly be productive. Your fingers are not performing a typing function.

I had to do this once for a test, and I thought it was totally unfair.
