To anybody who is tempted to apply for a job with Nuance based on the ad they placed here today, run away as fast as you can. They try to make it appear that you have the potential to make a decent living, but it is a complete lie. They will do everything in their power to make sure you never are paid for your work by auditing your reports constantly, until they find a tiny grammatical error, and then you are at the bottom of their grid. They will do this every single pay period. They will harass you constantly, until your self-worth has been destroyed, and you begin to believe what they say. Please do not give them the chance to ruin your knowledge that you are a good MT and deserve to make a decent living using your skills. Whatever rate they quote you, know that it is false, and that their entire focus is to steal your hard-earned money. Even if you do occasionally manage to stay above minimum wage, they then "convert" your lines to half their value for VR work (which they don't mention in the ad). Run, run, run for your lives.
