lies with whoever provides your paycheck. Clearly, where you are working now wants "distal radial fracture." That makes it the right way. If you get a job somewhere else and they want it another way, that other way will be the right way. There is no universal absolute "right way" to transcribe. It is entirely up to the employer to make that decision. And it doesn't have to agree with your opinion.
