Everyone has typing priorities set up and someone else may have the easier doctor who is disappearing as a higher priority than you, or possibly their only doctor and thus he disappears quickly.
It could be that several people have him as a first priority or as an only doctor.
QC no longer transcribes. I used to be QC and we were told, on the ambulatory side anyway, that we could no longer transcribe.
