These are not unreasonable. If we learn anything from the past, there will be no raise-ever. No health benefits, paid time off, company-provided computer, retirement plan, or internet reimbursement. These are all benefits I had less than 10 years ago-before our pay was literally cut in half. Second jobs that MTs are getting to survive are not always in this industry. Going to school to get out of this and become coders decreases available MTs as does those who are retiring or dying. Less than a month ago, I accepted an IC job, only to find last week a different IC job paying a full penny more a line. If we do not stand up for ourselves and demand a fair wage by not accepting these slave wages, nobody is going to do it for us.
