work for Amphion, and they did this, sometimes every day for months. I tried to tell myself it was better than constantly running out of work, but when you make up a schedule for yourself with hours that you can do, it does get rather irritating over time. Some people work part time because that is all the hours they want or can handle. All you got was straight pay which was lousy to begin with.
Sometimes they have these maintenance downtimes where you have to rearrange your schedule and fit an extra hour in your day. Now that really stinks, too.
