policy online, and it says they need at least 2 weeks' notice. I need to work up until close to the end, but it's hard to know how much time my family member has left. I don't want to take off months and months too soon, but I don't want to wait until it's too late either, and it's hard to know. It's not like death gives you a 2-week notice to be able to comply with company policy. I guess I'll just do my best to make it work, and if it doesn't & they fire me, I'll just find another job. This is much more important to me than my job.
