I worked it for months, saving up the money to use for school, but once summer classes started I have been too busy not to mention caught a doozy of a summer cold and have been sick almost 2 weeks. Physically and mentally I have no more time to give to Mmodal at this moment. And to answer your questions, no, not a word has been said. Yes my vacation has been approved. No I have not been audited any more than usual.
I have just learned not to check my email after shift or on off days, but there is always a twinge of guilt when I see high backlogs and critical alerts. However, it is not like I haven't worked it, I just took some time off. I plan to go back to working between summer classes and fall classes, because again I will use the money to pay for school. My feeling is if Mmodal wants to pay for my schooling so I can get a better job and get out of here, then I will take advantage of that.
My TSM is the best and she has called me to work extra and I have done it for her. Not for the company but for her. I know that not every TSM is like her though and some could be vindictive or mean about not working MOT.
