use of apostrophe with plural? - dawn

Posted: Nov 19, 2009

I have suggested referrels to either Dr.s' A/B (Swedish), Dr.s'C /D (University of Colorado), or the Barrow Neurologic Institute.

I changed the names for this question. Wondering on any advice for how to type that?

It would be Drs. A and B, no apostrophe. However, we would - have to use Dr. A. and Dr. B. NM

I would put: I have suggested referral to dr. swedish, dr UOC, or the Barrow neuro clinic ...

dr.? It is still Dr...nm - ?

nm

apo......and it is referral......sm - ap

to Dr. A and/or Dr. B

or Drs. A and/or B

Dr.C and/or Dr.D

or Drs. C and/or D.

Nowhere does it need an apo, since this is the PLURAL (not pleural!)of Dr., has nothing to do with possessive genitive, what asks for an apo.

what asks for an apo? - Huh?

Thanks for the warning about pleural. Don't think anyone thought of that.

It is often posted...sm - ap

'pleural' instead of 'plural,' even when it has nothing to do with the lungs, and is just the plural of singular (some people use 'singulair ?)

Regarding your question:

'What asks for an apo?'

The

possessive genitive

always asks fo an apostrophe.

Did you never hear about that?
Lighten up on spelling plural/pleural. It is just typed out - of habit of being MT. NM
