sailor / saylor sign for orthopedics or radiographs - Ginab14

Posted: Feb 08, 2014

Hello MT's,

I am looking for a sailor sign or a saylor sign.  He refers to it during a radiographic review and may or may not be related to the radiocapitellar region.  However, the more I reread what he says, the more I think it is a radiographic sign or signal.  Anyone??

it's "sail sign" (fat pad displacement, elbow). nm. - FlaMT

Any advice on how best I could prepare to work in this specialty for the first time?  It sounds like a great opportunity, but at the beginning a lot of the terminology would be very difficult for me.  I won't have a QA person monitoring my work ...

Is This A Sign?
Oct 15, 2010

The other evening at the grocery store, I picked up the newest issue of Employment Guide. You've probably seen it - it's usually by the doors to the store, and it's a nationwide publication. It used to list actual job openings for the local area. Now, though, it seems to be mainly an ad newspaper for schools offering career training. Anyway, what struck me about this issue is that none of the schools that have always advertised in this paper list medical transc ...
