Obesity has profoundly altered health care in hospitals. The obesity epidemic has forced health care facilities to rent or purchase so-called "big boy" beds, chairs, lifts and other equipment to deal with the burgeoning dimensions of our patients.

Hospitals are investing in MRI machines big enough to hold 550-pound patients. They are buying portable machines to extricate obese patients from their cars at the emergency department entrance. They are widening doors and switching from wall-mounted toilets, which support a mere 325 pounds, to sturdier floor-mounted models. They are buying longer needles and catheters and bigger patient gowns. They are renting or buying "big-boy" beds, commodes and walkers designed for the morbidly obese. Two Main Line Health hospitals have purchased extra-large hyperbaric chambers to aid wound healing for patients up to 550 pounds

Have they also invested in some hospital gowns for obese people? Otherwise, I have noticed they have to wear two of them to avoid showing everything from behind.

Big boy beds in the past meant when a child left their cribs and went to a bigger bed. Now with all these expansions, no pun intended, hospitals are going to have to expand, right?

I have a morbidly obese patient and the doctor is talking about morbidly obese men and women being born with 710 (or is it 7/10) "escorts" of lung and 710 or 7/10 "escorts" of body. I have done an extensive search and though I came up with plenty of information on date escorts, I cannot locate the word I am looking for.
Can anyone please help?

Needless to say, I am disgusted by this speaker. It doesn't help that she sounds like she's about 4 years old.

Does ASR not "hear" year-old approximately 5 million times a day? This cannot be because someone "changed it wrong" in an ASR report. It is because it is stupid and whoever programs it is stupid.
Also it takes 6.1 about 3 seconds to change the speed in a report now - up or down. I have to sit and wait.

and not once has she NOT been sniffling, sneezing, snorting, and swallowing/gulping down her own snot. Clean your nose out, already! These noises are really gross, I can never get through a whole report without stopping to gag. She is also a low-talker, so I can't just turn the volume down.
OK, vent over. ...

The word in question is "female". I've never heard of that but sounds like what he is saying. Is that correct? I cannot find anything on it. The sentence is:
