mmodal test - disheartened

I am currently trying to do the tier 3 transcription, But I cannot understand half of what these people are saying. I don't expect answers to be given to me, but any advice would help. These dictations are too fast and hard to make out many words. Please help!!!

Is it the specialty/specialties you are not familiar with, or are they giving you op reports you've never done? ESLs?

Need more information on how to help. If you were Tier 2 and doing okay, I would knock yourself down a tier so you can get some lines in. The extra whatever cpl isn't worth it if you can't do it. That being said, the only way to get good at it is to do it, but if you've had absolutely no training in what is coming into your ear, on-the-job right now isn't the way to get it.

I have no experience so I am not familiar with any of the specialties. It is very difficult to understand what the doctors are saying. My voice recognition doesn't even know what they're saying. Some of the words are impossible to look up phoenetically. I have taken this test three times and I have yet to pass it. I'm about to give up. Right now there are a lot of underscores in my transcriptions.

why don't you try the tier 1 test - if you have no experience?

With no experience, it would be pretty darn hard to pass the tier 3 test.

I would love to try the tier 1, but i only have the option to take the tier 3 test. Thanks to everyone for trying to help.

Can you talk to the recruiter and ask to take the - tier 1 test?

Maybe you already have, but why in the world would they want you to take the tier 3 test if you have no experience? Good luck to you!

I would like to thank everyone here who has helped me. Unfortunately, the good people at Mmodal were not so helpful. Not only can i only take the tier 3 test, but when i requested new dictation files, they gave me the runaround. When i finally got to talk to someone about it, I was told that the problem had been fixed. But lo and behold, I am still listening to the same jibberish on the dictation. I wish everyone pursuing employment through mmodal the best of luck, you're going to need it. I will be looking elsewhere for work. Again, thanks to all that tried to help me.

I took MModal employment test lately and i was very confident abiut my test. though I had 4 blanks on 1 report but for the test I think I did pretty good.
