entering radial arterial line with arrow and dart device - nikki
Posted: Apr 07, 2010
Does this sound right. The doctor says "Using an arrow and s/l including a dart device, the radial artery was entered, and a wire was advanced..." Thanks for helping!!
I have never heard dart before, but there are - Arrow cardiac catheters. (NM)
Just holding down the arrow when suddenly the number 6 appeared as if I typed it! My fingers were no where near the 6!
Please watch every second when you hold down the right arrow for a length of time!
Wonder what else this program does on its own!! ...
Has anyone else ever had their up arrow not respond while in the text area of the platform? It works fine in other areas of the program like the dropdown menus, but I can only get it to work sometimes, but more times not, in the text area. It's not my keyboard because it works fine in all other programs. ...
"Patient has had an s/l amputation radial tear of the posterior horn, which was treated with partial meniscectomy."
That is what I am clearly hearing but I cannot reference that anywhere. If it is correct, what is it?
Also, DR states he showed the patient the "video prints" so that she understands. I have never heard this before. Is this photos from the surgery video?
Thanks for any help! ...

I have been here with MQ 4ever it seems. Today, I just need to rant. It seems that for the last week or so ASR has gotten WORSE, leaving out words and still not changing terms which have been repeatedly "corrected" by me. It is not "learning". Of course, I guess this means job security.
But, the next rant I have is how many ways can someone enter a docs credentials and initials in? Constantly leaving out the periods after the middle initials ...
I need help and need to know how you all enter your time in TimeSaver. I was told to only enter the time you are actually typing or editing and do not enter the time you are researching or reading work emails, etc., only when your "hands are on the keyboard". So, this obviously won't equal to 8 hours a day just by entering this time, so how do they figure in that we are full-time employees this way?
If I only enter 5 or 6 hours a day instead of 8 then they can ...
