FINDINGS

PA and lateral views. Comparison exam 4/30/07. The lungs appear clear. Cardiomediastinal silhouette is within normal limits.

IMPRESSION

Unremarkable chest. <???> changes from 4/30/07 exam.

I was thinking it sounded like "No speculative changes" but it's very blurred and sort of sounds like "noticed the beginning of changes" but that doesn't make much sense.

I just can NOT make out what the dictator is saying! A more experienced MT will probably be able to infer, but I'm still learning...thanks in advance!

That definitely makes sense, but it just doesn't sound like what's being said...and as I listen to it again and again, it sounds more like "no adverse-something changes."
That's one thing I have a problem with as an MT...I want it to be exact, even when the difference won't affect the meaning.

You've listened to it over and over and so far you have said it sounds like 3 completey different things. You are probably really over thinking it. Are you doing just this one radiology report? or is it part of a bigger report? If you can, go ahead and just leave a blank and come back and listen again after you've finished the report. Sometimes when you go over and over it you get yourself all messed up and need to come back later with a clear head. If it is just this one report, don't be afraid to leave a blank, maybe the next report you have he/she will say it clearer and you will know what should have been ;-P

I think you're right...and it's just a smaller report but I've already gone over it multiple times as well as other similar reports from the same dictator, but I've been unable to figure out this on word on two reports with basically the same IMPRESSION. I'm still waiting on instructions on how to leave a blank as this is new software.

Make a sign - use cardboard, paint, real easy. It will say "OCCUPY M*MODAL" or "OCCUPY ACCENTUS" (I just pull names out of a hat). Then list one or two of the most egregious abuses on the sign. Procyte and Prosight I know that Prosight is a multivitamin. I found both on WebMD's drugs and meds A-Z. There was no information on Procyte. It was just listed as Procyte Top.
