Can't recommend one off the top of my head, but ophthalmology can be very difficult. I would type in google for instance. Ophthalmology terminology, ophthalmology sample reports, do a couple of those and look at the sites and see if you come up with something to save in your favorites. That's what I have done. Also, if you are working for an MTSO ask for samples or maybe you have access to look up samples?
Hello coleagues,
After a lengthy period of unemployment partly due to disability, I finally landed a job with a respectable MTSO. I splurged today and bought the PC and necessary peripherals along with wireless Internet, which works great. I am a little short fiscally this month, though, so one of their requirements I am going to have trouble fulfilling is having a working copy of MS Word 2003/07/10 on my machine.
I respect MS a lot and I am NOT into "stealing" software, but is it ...
I am looking for a word book (electronic) for EEG words and sample reports. I have the complete Stedman series of word books (electronic) and they are very helpful, however i have yet to find a word book (electonic) of diagnostic studies such as EKGs, EEGs, ultrasounds, x-rays, all types of scans, etc., etc. If anyone knows of a web site or where I might find such an electronic word book I woud greatly apprecite it. I have sent an e-mail to AAMT web site and to LWW (for Stedman's Series) (W ...
I just got a new client that is an ophthalmology group. The doctor is saying,

Your help is greatly appreciated. ...

I rarely ever get these types of reports and need help with how to type this sentence:
His refractive error is a -0.50 +1.25 axis at 170.
I do not know where/if to put commas, if it should be typed -0.50 plus 125 or -0.50 + 1.25, or as above sample. Any help would be much appreciated. ...

Need some help with these terms that are some type of eye surgery. They are mentioned in the past medical history. Resident dictates what sounds like "rule-op-sis" to the right eye (spells this rulptoss, which I am sure doesn't spell anything!) and "lul-pop-tosis" to the left eye (spells this lulptosos, which also doesn't spell anything!).
I would greatly appreciate any ideas you have!

I've been editing and transcribing an ophthalmology account for a month now. I find it very difficult with many abbreviations and tests. I also find it really hard to find things on the Internet related to same, unlike with the other specialties with which I'm familiar.
Anyone else dislike ophthalmology as much as I do?

The doc says "Retina examination shows normal _____ vessels." After having googled and googled, I wonder if he is saying disk macula and vessels or maybe disk-macula and vessels. I have found a hyphenated "disk-macula" but only once, so I don't know whether to trust this or not. And it could be something else. It could be "dis-something," but I just can't find anything that begins with "dis" related to eye anatomy. It could be "disk," which actually would make some sen ...

posted about never would they work for 7 cpl as IC. It must be nice to be able to choose your pay. I have personally been so close to being homeless more than a few times that I grab what I can when I can. I am always looking for the better-paying job. Of course, that could mean the dictators are awful or the platform is bulky or my boss is rude. I personally would rather work for 7 cpl as an IC and get 200+ lines per hour than 9 or even 10 cpl being lucky enough to ...
