Meyer wire - Tammy

Does anyone know the correct spelling for Meyer wire used in an AAA?
This is what I have.... - (see message)

In my Cardiology book, I have it written in as: "Meier wire" with a question mark next to it.
I wrote it in so long ago that I'm not sure why I have the question mark...would usually mean that a doctor spelled it but I couldn't confirm it anywhere else, or that I found it spelled that way on the internet but wasn't sure if it was a reputable source (or couldn't confirm from the manufacturer's own website). It might have been something too new to find much on the internet at the time I wrote that in.
Sorry, I know this isn't a definitive answer. Maybe someone else will know better.

I did a really quick search for Endovascular Repair of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (EVAR). There was a link for CTSnet dot org, specifically for this search.
It goes through the entire procedure and the article even lists the tools necessary.
Under the guidewires heading, it has an entry that specifies the Meier guidewire: Boston Scientific 0.035 x 260cm Meier Guidewire, 10 cm tip length.
Additionally, if you do an Internet search specifically for Meier guidewire, Boston Scientific shows up at the very top of the results with "Guide Wires for Peripheral Interventions."
Check out that resource, having many proprietary names of guidewires and systems.

In a cath report, is it support wire or sport wire? With Google, it seems like it should be support wire, but it sure sounds like he (ESL) says sport wire.
