Medication sounds like delzo? - MT mary

I have a report where the dictator (clear speaking) says delzo as a med. I have no idea what it is, do not want to send it in because its a long report and the whole thing will count agains me. Can anyone help out? thanks

Delzicol, 400 mg, Asacol, mesalamine, treatment of ulcerative colitis.

Delzicol and Asacol are both brands of mesalamine - fyi

Delzicol comes in capsule form and Asacol comes in tablet form. If you open Delzicol (You should not open according to manufacturers instruction)

If you have to send a long report with even just one blank in it, the entire report counts against "lines submitted for QA" and if you go over a certain percentage, you get docked 3 cpl for all work that pay period.

I do work there and it is my understanding that if you send more then 5% to QA then you get docked 3 cpl for all work submitted. If that is an incorrect interpretation of the policy, please enlighten me.

Also... there is a blanks contest (because we all know blanks are our fault), so you dont wanna submit any blanks at all!

The OP is correct... anything over 5% submission to QA gets docked 3 cpl.

I have looked under every vowel and checked bitosa, batosa, victosa and on and on. It is taken at dose of 0.6 mg subcu for 1 week and titrate every week by 0.6 until maximum dose of 1.8. Decrease to lower dose if develops any nausea. I have no clue. Pt has diabetes, under poor control for 12 years and lupus. If any help, thanks in advance.
