Generous deep tendon reflexes? - ?

Full sentence is "concerned about the possibility of compressive cervical myelopathy in the presence of generous (?) deep tendon reflexes and in the face of polyneuropathy seen on EMG."

No, he clearly said generous, was just wondering - if that was a normal term.
[ In Reply To ..]I went back and looked at an older report on this patient and the doc had said he was hyperreflexic, so I stuck with generous. I think he just had some weird wording there.
MD has his own personal reflex grading codes. - sm
[ In Reply To ..]Absent, decreased, numbered grading (1+-2/4, for example), brisk and hyper- are the most common. My guess would be that "generous" falls somewhere between numbered grading and brisk. Is he a neurologist, orthopedist or neurosurgeon? They would be the most likely to have devised their own grading designations. BTW, I have been transcribing for nearly 34 years and to my recollection, I have heard this term used once or twice many moons ago.
He's an Occ Health doctor, but he does - tend to make his own terms
