Is Escription compatible with word/windows 2007? - TP

Posted: Jul 12, 2010

Hello!  My laptop just went kaput and I want to buy a new one but all of the computers these days come with windows 2007/word 7.  Does anyone know if escription is compatible with this operating system?  Does anyone know how to contact escription to find out?

I think it depends on the version - sm

I've worked on EditScript 8 that works with Vista, and on EditScript 6 that will only work on Windows 2003, so it depends what you are running. I would ask your tech people at your job.

Is Windows 7 In XP Mode Compatible With Editscript
Nov 01, 2010

Hi there. I have taken a job with a company who uses editscript which they tell me is only compatible with Windows XP. I am running Windows 7. On microsofts home page they have a download that will allow you to run 7 in XP mode for compatibility with older programs. I wondered if anyone has tried this or had any experience with this issue and editscript. I could just load a second OS on my computer but this download woud be much simpler and cheaper. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank ...

Hi, My 3-year-old Windows XP laptop crashed on Monday; thankfully my 7-year-old Windows XP desktop still chugs along (slowly) and I've been able to do my transcription work without a glitch (for the most part). However, I need to get a new laptop, and I'm going to be buying a Windows 7 laptop. My boyfriend already has a Windows 7 and he is testing my transcription software and foot pedal on the virtual Windows XP mode that Windows 7 Professional comes with. The problem is that while ...

Word 2007
Aug 19, 2014

Hello,  My company is using Word 2007 and we just decided to change the way we format our office visits. Instead of listing the medications in a paragraph form with commas after each medication we are listing them in a column and numbering them. Our problem is that when we get the dictations in our speech format they are in a paragraph. Is there a way of converting the paragraph to a column so they can be numbered or do we have to just do them individually? Thanks,  Glenn ...

Autocomplete Add In For Word 2007??
Mar 22, 2010

I recently upgraded to Office 2007.  I previously utilized both Autocomplete and Autotext.  Using Autocomplete in conjunction with Autotext allowed me to not have to memorize as many hot keys.  Well, as many of you probably know, Word 2007 no longer has the Autotext function.  It has been replaced with Building Blocks, which to my understanding, requires you to create hot keys for the entries.  My question is, does anyone know of an add on for Word that can be bought (o ...
