A community of 30,000 US Transcriptionist serving Medical Transcription Industry
Yeah, I laughed (some) at first, but the joke is old and tired now - like it's making me.
Before my transcription department outsourced us to Medquist, we started with VR for our radiologists. Fast forward years later and I'm working in a medical office for a group of cardiologists. I was sorting through the radiology reports sent to us while a patient is in the hospital and noticed a disclaimer: "This report is dictated using voice recognition software. For any questions regarding content or errors, please contact the dictating physician". Nice to know that software really learned our docs speech resulting in faster TAT and no errors.
