Word 2007 and Enterprise Express Editor - Partsman41953

Hello,
I do transcription using Word 2007 and Nuiance Enterprise Express Editor with their speech program. Our problem is that when we get our dictations the headings do not come through capitalized with a colon behind them like the need to be. Also on the physical exams the headings come through on single lines and we have to move them to paragraph form one sentence at a time. Please let me know if there is a way of correcting this.
Example: This is how we get the dictations:
Physical Examination
Vital Signs
Blood pressure is 126/80.
This is how they should be:
PHYSICAL EXAMINATION: VITAL SIGNS: Blood pressure 126/80.

[ In Reply To ..]Is this a new account? Sometimes with new accounts, you'll have to do the formatting correctly and eventually the speech program will recognize this and start formatting it that way. Other than that, you might want to contact your employer and ask them.

Dictaphone ExText Explorer and Customization Client - dmj
[ In Reply To ..]These are settings that need to be set up by your system administrator for the Dictaphone Enterprise software.
The section heading format settings are configured via ExText Explorer --> Edit site profile --> ExEditor Macro Settings.
It can be specified in this area the section heading font, size, bold, underling, italic, all caps, append a colon, new line appended (i.e., hard return so text starts under the heading on a new line), spaces after a period, etc.
Additionally, the software has to know "what" should be considered a heading in order to apply the formatting rules. This is done in Dictaphone EXS Customization Client where there is an area called "Heading." Words should be added here that would be considered headings so that the formatting rules can be applied to the text before it is presented to the MT. It takes an administrator to actively set up and manage the Customization Client. However, with the headings this usually doesn't take much managing once the headings have been set up.

Hello, My company is using Word 2007 and we just decided to change the way we format our office visits. Instead of listing the medications in a paragraph form with commas after each medication we are listing them in a column and numbering them. Our problem is that when we get the dictations in our speech format they are in a paragraph.
