DocQScribe - have a question - sm - Susan

I work for a company that uses DocQScribe (not MQ) but since MQ uses it, I thought you all would be experts on it and I could ask this here.
I copied a report I did from DocQ into Word and got different line counts - to the tune of me losing 14 lines in a report by DocQ's count (adds up by the end of the day). Am I missing something or can companies manipulate the DocQ to count a certain way or it is what it is?
I am a big producer and it never seems I can hit good numbers and now I wonder if this is why.

Here's what you have to do - sm
[ In Reply To ..]I have seen on here a lot of complaints about this but never really checked myself (didn't want to get mad). Anyway, I took a report I did and copied it into the word document. We do not get paid for the red headers, so I removed them. Still had a different count than they did. If you have standards in reports, like I do, you have to remove the asterisks and the spaces left between all the paragraphs and any signature lines, headers, etcs. Then I did a line count and got what they got. I don't think it is right because we have to create our own red headings sometimes, which is my typing, and don't get paid for it. In the standards, I have to remove the jump marks, which is my using the keyboard, and don't get paid for that either. But, that is what it is. Try doing that and see what you get. By the way, when you copy the report, the red headings don't show up as red headings, they are typed with colons, so remember that.

[ In Reply To ..]She got what DocQ got. Word inflated it but it also counted the headers (I didn't take them out and am not sure whether or not we get paid for those). Seems about the same but it sure is amazing how slowly the lines build up.

What method are you using to count lines in Word? - SM
[ In Reply To ..]Word does not count text in the header/footer area. Word does count blank lines between paragraphs in the Line count.
To get a correct comparison, you must first know exactly how your lines are being counted.

My company is switching from straight transcription on DQS to ASR on DQS. I've used DQS for two years and didn't even know they had ASR, but apparently they do. Could any of you with experience on this please give me your opinions of the DQS ASR platform? I'm just not sure I want to go through training if I won't want to stay with this company. My account was switched over 5 weeks ago and truthfully I don't see improvement. One day I think maybe it is getting better and the next day it's worse. Cannot Get DocQScribe To Load

I tried to get DocQScribe to load from the DocQManage page for over an hour and finally had to send in a ticket. Is anyone else having this kind of trouble with the system.
