Alternative for - ExpressScribe?

I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction...I need to test for a company and my expressscribe has expiried and it won't let me download another free trial...are there any other programs that offer a free trial that I could use?

Try uninstalling it and reinstalling it for another free trial. - anon

Mine expired too yesterday and I just uninstalled and reinstalled it. I'm going to try Start/Stop because it has supposedly good tech support if I need it.

I needed to call tech support because the ftp portion of my start/stop player stopped workig and could not load/download jobs. It took them 3 days to get in touch with me. They remoted' into my computer and tried many different things to fix it! He finally said, "this is broke," and I said "no kidding. that's why I called." he said he would "check with his manuals and coworkers" and get back to me when they had a solution. That was 6 months ago and I purchased a different software to use, but I never heard back from them. I still does not work, and they don't care! that's how good their "tech support" is. but go ahead and buy it! ha ha.

This topic keeps resurfacing like like a nasty zombie. Uninstall your latest version Express Scribe and use this one. It is version 4.15.

Alternative to ES - nn

Same thing happened to me. Now, you can't even configure the footpedal when you download it without purchasing ES. I did some searching yesterday (Sunday) and found this program. The FTW Transcriber. It is free but comes with ads and limited features, but plays all sound files.

If you decide to "upgrade" it is $2 for a month, 3 months for $4, 6 months for $6, 12 months for $10, 24 months for $18 and 36 months for $25. Very easy to use and I used an old test file that I still had and the rewind and fast forward work wonderfully.

I desperately need an alternative to ES. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling for the free trial version several times. I finally kept getting a message that I could no longer download the free trial, so I purchased the Pro version because I was promised that I was also paying for tech support.
