Hi! Can anyone tell me what some good programs are if I was to try to get into the IC field? I mean programs for downloading voice files, for getting the foot pedal to work with said voice files, etc. I have Word and a word expander.
It's a little wonky in that even though it shows the correct amount for each file in Step 4 on your screen, it rounds off the amount for each individual file in the actual invoice. But I've thoroughly double-checked it against Word's Word Count (with spaces, then divided by 65), and as long as I use the Regular Word Count (Slow) method with it, the Total Amount at the bottom is exactly on. (see link at bottom)
I only use 5 of the invoice column options in Step 4 (S.No., File Name, Amount, Lines-65 char/line, and Pages). The rest seems like overkill to me, but your needs may vary, of course.
I also use doPDF free converter to save/"print" as a .pdf to send to my client. The other options of .txt or .rtf or whatever just don't work for me, but that may be due to my antique computer more than FlashCount itself.

My client pays for MetroScript. I guess it's okay; if I was paying for something myself, I'd probably go with another one. Lot of people here recommend DocShuttle, I think.
See link below for Search results. You can also do your own search for TASP here with the Search function at the top of front page of each board (next to Archives) with like 2014 or 2015 (i.e.: tasp 2014) to weed down for more recent posts.
