I've have had cable internet service since 2005, and since early 2008 I have worked for 3 companies that all required high-speed internet. I never gave it much thought because I've always had the cable service. But now we want to move, and unfortunately cable internet service is just about non-existant in the areas we are considering. I'm very happy with my current position (and they can work with DSL), but obviously it would not be wise for me to move to a place that would severely limit my future employment opportunites.
So when I see in a job posting stating that "high-speed internet" is required, does that normally include DSL or not? I'm aware that DSL isn't available everywhere, either, but it would possibly expand our options on where to live.
Thanks!
