Good expander to use with 2007 - Kat

I am transcribing in Word 2007 now and have normally used companies programs which had the expander built-in. Can you give me some ideas of good expanders to use with Word 2007 that I can purchase? Thanks, I appreciate your expertise.

Instant Text can import many other program entries as well as AutoCorrect and AutoText so you don't have to start all over. You can take Instant Text with you when you change jobs and/or platforms. IT also works with Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7. Do a Google search and go to their web site to see an overview of how the program works.

I just started using Bayscribe and I am on Vista and cannot for the life of me get Instant Text to work. I have tried upgrading IT but to no avail. Any ideas? Anyone? I could use the help. TIA.

It sounds like a hassle, but this is the only thing that worked for me. I typed in Word 2003 and then had to copy/paste my work into Bayscribe. What I noticed happening if I tried to pull a longer entry from IT into BS, is that I would only get a few words of it and then lock up. This probably isn't what you wanted to hear, but after a while you do get faster at it. Good luck!

In case anyone is interested, I got some help regarding making my old IT work with Bayscribe. You can actually upgrade you IT if you have a very old version as long as it is yours and not a copy. The trick to making it work is to turn off the account user by going to your Start, Control Panel, and Users and accounts. It will give you the option to turn it off. Once you do you can link IT with Bayscribe. At least it worked for me. Thanks to those who tried to help, appreciated.

Hello, My company is using Word 2007 and we just decided to change the way we format our office visits. Instead of listing the medications in a paragraph form with commas after each medication we are listing them in a column and numbering them. Our problem is that when we get the dictations in our speech format they are in a paragraph. I recently upgraded to Office 2007. I previously utilized both Autocomplete and Autotext. Using Autocomplete in conjunction with Autotext allowed me to not have to memorize as many hot keys. Hi, I use Word 2007 for work.. Yesterday I must have hit some sort of function key that turned on a blue box that surrounds information in header/footer and I have no idea how to turn this off. Called IT,, must have been busy because they assured me that this box cannot be seen on completed reports. Shut down PC and when restarted the blue box is still there.. what function key(s) would I do to make it go away, drives my eyes batty ...
